UCP leadership ballots are in the mail — many of you have received them already!
Ballots must be received back by October 3 at 5PM.
In order to make sure your vote arrives on time and is counted, you should vote as soon as possible by mail.
Make sure you fill out numbers for all the candidates you choose to support, with #1 being your first place choice.

When do ballots go out? When is the deadline to get them back?
Ballots were mailed starting on September 2.
Ballots must be received by October 3 at 5PM. Please mail your ballot as soon as possible to make sure your vote is counted.
How does the ranked ballot work?
You should rank each candidate from 1—7, with 1 being your favourite candidate, and 7 being your least favourite.
Ranking multiple candidates cannot hurt your preferred candidate — your second choice is only counted if your first choice is knocked off the ballot.
If no candidate has reached 50%, the lowest ranking candidate is dropped off the ballot, and then the voters who supported that candidate have their second choices counted. This process continues until we have a winner with more than 50% of the vote.
Do I have to rank every candidate?
No, you do not need to rank every candidate. You only need to rank the candidates you would like to see as UCP leader.
What if I didn’t receive my ballot? What if there is something wrong with my ballot?
